Privacy Policy
VICO HOME (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) is provided by VICO HOME Technology Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong) and its affiliated companies (collectively, “VICO HOME,” “we,” or “us”). We attach great importance to the privacy of our users and will protect your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and relevant regulations.
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) explains how VICO HOME collects, processes, and uses your personal data. To protect your rights, please read this Policy carefully. By accessing and using this service, you consent to VICO HOME collecting, processing, and using the personal information you provide to VICO HOME and/or held by VICO HOME in accordance with this policy.

2. VICO Data Automatically Collected by HOME
· Usage Data
We collect information about your activity on the Service and the devices you use to access it. When you browse or search within the Service, the Service automatically records your connection’s IP address, operating system, mobile device information, and browsing history. This information is used only for statistical analysis and service optimization purposes and will not be linked to any specific individual.
· Information from Third-Party Service Providers
To build your profile on the Service, you can link your account with accounts on third-party services, such as Instagram and Facebook. We may receive information such as your name, headshot, age, language, email address, and friends list.
3. Information You Provide to VICO HOME
· Member Information
To create your account, you will need to provide personal information such as your name, email address, password, date of birth, gender, and location. You may also be required to provide other information to use the social features of this service, such as a profile picture, biography, nationality, and social username.
· Online Activities
You may provide personal information by participating in online activities or online surveys hosted by VICO HOME.
· Location Information
With your consent, we may collect your location information.
Payment and Credit Card Information
If you order home furnishing products through this service, you will be required to provide your payment information to complete your order, including your name, credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address. We do not store this payment information, but we do store your payment and receipt records to fulfill your order. Please also note that VICO HOME’s third-party payment providers may retain your payment information and records in accordance with their privacy policies.
Other Information
In addition to the personal information you provide directly, you may also voluntarily provide personal information to VICO HOME’s partners (such as third-party home furnishing product brands) and, with your consent, provide your personal information to VICO HOME. This information will only be used and processed by VICO HOME to enhance and improve this service and will not be used for any other purpose.
IV. Data Use Period, Location, Target, and Method
· Use Period
VICO HOME will retain your personal data for the duration of its operations. Unless otherwise provided by law, the data use period will end upon termination of service or upon your request to cease use.
· Use Area
Taiwan. If cross-border transfer of personal data is necessary, VICO HOME will comply with this Policy, the Personal Data Protection Act, and the applicable personal data protection laws of the region of transfer.
· Use Target
Except as otherwise provided by law or this Policy, VICO HOME will use your personal data within the scope of the service purposes you have consented to and to improve and enhance the service. VICO HOME will not arbitrarily transfer the personal data you provide to any third party or use it for other purposes. However, to provide this service, VICO HOME may provide your personal data to carefully selected partners.

· Space Planning Service
You may upload images of your space through the space planning feature within this service. You understand that any space images uploaded to this service will be made public to other users and will be used by the company to improve and enhance this service. If you believe your home contains private information or content that is inappropriate for inclusion in this service, please exercise discretion and remove it before scanning. By uploading images of your home to this service, you consent to our use of such information as described above.
· Requests from Laws and Regulations
Based on legal requirements or requests from government agencies, VICO HOME will disclose your information in this service.
V. Limitation and Exclusion of Liability
1. VICO HOME makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the following:
1. The Service will meet the user’s requirements;
2. The Service will operate continuously and without interruption;
3. The data used in the Service will be transmitted, processed, stored, and backed up in a timely, secure, reliable, and accurate manner;
4. System and data errors will be promptly detected and corrected;
5. The user’s transmissions or transmitted data are legally authorized, accessed, or not altered;
6. Any services, information, or other materials obtained through the Service will meet the user’s expectations;
7. The Service will be free from defects, errors, or unavailability.
2. The content of this service requires an internet connection. This service assumes no responsibility for any damage to the internet connection caused by technical failures, power outages, or any other factors beyond the control of this service.
3. This service may contain external links to third-party websites or services. These third-party websites or services are not under the control of VICO HOME, and VICO HOME is not responsible for the content of such third-party websites or services. The inclusion of such external links does not imply that VICO HOME endorses the third-party website or service or that such third-party website or service is affiliated with VICO HOME.
4. All data recorded by users during their use of this service is based on the electronic data stored in the VICO HOME database. In the event of any dispute or litigation, the electronic data stored by VICO HOME shall be the governing law.
VI. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Other Matters
1. If any portion of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remainder of these Terms will remain in effect except for the invalid or unenforceable portion.
2. These Terms, Privacy Policy, and its related terms of use, procedures, handling principles, policies, and service descriptions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China. Any matters not covered by these Terms shall be governed by the laws and regulations of the Republic of China and the relevant regulations of the competent authorities applicable to the user’s use of the Service.
3. Any disputes between users and VICO HOME arising out of or relating to the Service, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or any of its related terms of use, procedures, principles, policies, and service instructions, if any, arising from such disputes, shall be heard in the Taipei District Court of Taiwan as the consensual court of first instance.
The headings of the clauses in these Terms are for reference only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
